Jessus Zambrano was born and raised in the small town of Abejales, in the Andean foothills of Táchira, Venezuela. It was there, at the age of 14, that he set out to pursue his childhood dream of eventually becoming an actor. It was a journey that began following a successful modeling career. It was an opportunity that opened the world to him with assignments with on location shoots in Europe, Mexico, Colombia, and USA to name a few. During that time Zambrano had the opportunity to further his represent some of the biggest names in fashion. It included world-renowned brands such as Oscar de la Renta, Roberto Cavalli, Dolce & Gabbana, and Emporio Armani.
This experience allowed him to grow a professional network and develop the industry expertise that enabled him to establish his own brand in the fashion and entertainment business. The launch and management of his self-titled clothing line, Jessus Zambrano, was in 2012. During that year he continued modeling and earned the title of Mister Venezuela 2012 after being selected by Mister World franchise holder, Osmel Sousa. He also represented Venezuela in the 2012 Mister World pageant in Kent, England, on November 24, 2012. Earlier in his modeling career while working in Colombia, Zambrano had also earned recognition from El Spectador’s Cromos magazine as Colombia’s 2010 Best Model.
Having gained considerable modeling experience and accolades, Zambrano turned his attention back to early dreams of acting. He found success there as well, with starring roles in a number of film and stage productions across Latin America to include, Los Secretos de Lucia (Venevision Production), Tierra de Cantores (Caracol TV), and Mujeres al Limite (Caracol TV). Zambrano eventually shifted greater focus from modeling to his passion for film and acting. To better pursue his dream, he moved to New York City in 2014 to study acting at The Neighborhood Playhouse School of Theatre, which boasts a list of acclaimed alumni to include Steve McQueen, Diane Keaton, Dylan McDermott, and many others.
In addition to professional aspirations, Zambrano works to support the communities and causes most important to him. Developing a relationship with “Buena Voluntad Venezuela –Goodwill” is among his most important volunteer commitments. It is there that he serves as a Goodwill ambassador. In doing so he advocates for and lends his support to the organization’s mission to provide access to education and employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities.
He created scripts for prestigious brands such as Dior, Discovery Channel, We Work, Money Magazine, Food Network; supporting marketing teams in developing strategies in line with their KPIs. He knows how to tell stories that can sell ideas and generate mind-blowing engagement.
